About Us & History of YKAKI

Care for Cancer Kids Indonesian Foundation (YKAKI) is established with heart, with empathy towards children with cancer and their parents.

The founders are three tough and beautiful women: Ira Soelistyo, Pinta Manullang andHj. Aniza Santosa. Three best friends who dedicate their heart for children suffering from cancer.

The story began when Mrs. Ira and Mrs. Pinta’s sons suffered from leukemia, and both of their sons seek medication to the Netherlands. The treatment in the Netherlands was more humane, and during the treatment, children were provided with education. Based on the experience, they then founded YKAKI that is committed to help children with cancer, especially those who are economically challenged.

YKAKI programs are made in order to provide education during treatment and support their parents in the most possible ways so that they will feel less burdened and stress.s

YKAKI had received positive responses, people are moved to provide help and believe that YKAKI can be a facility in order to do so. We are happy to be a door to these children for you, lets come together and do something, for the sake of the children.
